Produces sharp halftone dots suitable for dot etching.
Can be used in professional applications for copying line originals, for
producing negative slides from line copy (e.g., title slides), and for special

Safelight
Recommendations:
Use
a KODAK 1A Safelight Type Filter/light red or the equivalent, in a suitable
safelight lamp equipped with a 15-watt bulb. Keep the film at least 4 feet (1.2
meters) from the safelight. Avoid prolonged exposure to safelight illumination.
ISO
/ ASA 8 10 for general halftone works (Developing in
an A & B Type Developer)
ISO/
ASA 10 25 when shooting continuous tone (Common
Paper Developer)
When
processing you can use a Kodak 1A Safelight to check development. (Do NOT use an
Amber Safe Light)
Works
with many different normal B&W developers and even Caffenol , for example.
These are some real basic guidelines. The film inherently has wide latitude in
high contrast applications, and a much narrower window when utilizing as a
mid-tone film.
