We have found the old Minoltas to be true work horses and the perfect student camera for instructors to teach, and students to learn, when taking photography classes. The best way to learn, is to do so, with a camera that can be operated manually. This is how you'll come to understand the basics of exposure, and put basic photographic principles, such as the exposure triangle, into practice.
Most instructors will expect you to be able to use the camera manually as part of your curriculum. You'll practice not only how to get the "by the book" exposure, but will also come to understand how and why to over- or under-expose on purpose for a more creative effect or because the "correct" exposure may not actually work for a particular moment or subject matter.
These Minolta Cameras are cleaned and examined and ready to learn with. Includes Camera with a 50mm Minolta lens. Fully operational and functions 100% as intended. Camera and lens are clean and are film and shutter tested! These will not be cosmetically perfect, however they will have been checked and cleaned and tested.
They are in very good working conditions including the light meters (exact accuracy not guaranteed)and generally around an 8 - 10 Grade. We may have to substitute various X-370 (or X570) models, but the X-370 is the most abundant. While supplies last.
We usually have a pretty good supply of X-370, but we may need to substitute, or mix in X-570. We will let you know if needed. Camera requires 2 of these Button Cell Batteries to operate
